Hans Rudolf is 28 years old and was born and raised in Portland, OR. He has been an artist his entire life, always creating with whatever he could find, but especially has a passion for painting. He loves to work with many different mediums including fine ink pens, markers or sculpting with various materials including cardboard and wood, but prefers to create acrylic paintings.

Hans’ goal is to create thought provoking artworks that allow the viewer to interpret them in any way they please. He would best describe the art he creates as either abstract or geometric, with the ability to add a certain amount of each to a given piece.

While painting, Hans utilizes numerous techniques to achieve the final look for each artwork, and is always experimenting with new ways to apply textures and mix colors in new and fun ways. Color is one of the main things that attracted Hans to painting, he loves to explore different combinations, each of which evoke a different emotion within him, and he hopes, the viewer as well.

The art he strives to create is just as much about the process as it is the final piece. Painting is a form of meditation for Hans, an escape from the stresses and anxieties of everyday life. Art and the reward of creation, are some of the greatest gifts in life….Stay Creative!!
